1. EXCAVATION The excavation to take the Bio-Crete unit & our lifting frame needs to measure:

13ft (4m) long

x   5ft (1.5m) wide

x 5ft8in (1.7m) bottom hole to top of inlet pipe

Note:  Digger required on site at time of Bio-Crete arrival (MINI-DIGGER NOT SUITABLE). If excavation is 2.95m (9’8) or deeper please notify us when ordering (3+ risers required). If rock bottom, blind with sand. If gravity outfall keep levels up, giving maximum fall from tank. The Bio-Crete unit is 3.4m long, 1.2m wide & 2.1m high.

3. Type 2. Raised Bed Percolation Area
Must be used if drainage is too slow (T>60) or too fast (T<5), or if high water table/bedrock.
3m slope off all around to be provided.
Raised bed percolation area is to be creating using imported good quality topsoil (T=21-50)& is 1m high above existing ground level.
A French drain all around leading to natural outfall required if T>60.
If soil with a T=5-20 is used then half the trench length.

Your electrician to wire our controller in utility room. Cables required from controller to unit: 1 No. 5 core 1.5 SWA

Please ring Bio-Crete 2 weeks before moving into house, we will call to install pumps & commission your unit.
